CONTINUITY ACTIVITIES

Brown Bear Book Project
We did the handprints for the Brown Bear Hand Painting Project and it went smoothly. I got inspired after we did the handprints and really tried to make the goldfish look more like a goldfish. I am happy with how it came out.Orange Goldfish Handprint

Color Cards
This week we did the orange color cards. Like I did with the other colors, I would point to the orange color card, say the name of the color, and then point to the individual letters and spell it out. My child always looks forward to picking a new card each day.

Fish Bowl Craft
The addition to the fish bowl or ocean life this color week was a clown fish!  Who doesn’t love Nemo. I cute out the fish, but let my child glue it on and kept reinforcing the color as we did the craft. We added this to the blue water, yellow starfish, red crab, white sand, black fish, green seaweed and pink seahorse.Orange Fish Bowl

Color Find
We did this outside and looked for orange flowers amongst the other color flowers.  We also did a version inside. The children took turns picking an orange block for the multicolored blocks. Each time we asked them to ‘please pick an orange block and put it in the plastic bin.’Orange Find It
